Accepting New Customer appointments from the Online Scheduler in HITS BPOS

How does an appointment show up in HITS BPOS when made through the Online Scheduler?


  1. Appointments made in the Online Scheduler will be sent into HITS BPOS as a notification (Type: Online Appointment).
  2. Click the bell icon or press CTRL+Z on your keyboard to open the Notifications screen.

How do I accept the appointment to enter it into HITS BPOS?


  1. Double click the notification for the Online Appointment you wish to accept.
  2. Alternatively, single click its row, then click ✅ Process Notification.
  1. This will create a quote at the date/time for "TEMPORARY CUSTOMER"

When customer arrives for service

  1. Create a matching customer and vehicle in HITS at the time of service.
  2. Start the repair order.
  3. When moved to Check In or On Lot status, the appointment in Autoflow converts to an active visit.
