Two Active RO for Same Customer and Vehicle - Tekmetric

Two Active RO for Same Customer and Vehicle - Tekmetric

Tekmetric integration does now have the ability to have two ACTIVE visits for the same customer and vehicle combination. This does still have limitations where appointments are concerned however.

When creating a visit from an appointment, you will want to check in the visit from the appointment first in order to retain any notes made on the Concerns/Reason Vehicle Here in autoflow. If an appointment has notes placed on the RVH prior to a visit being checked in, the Concerns in Tekmetric will only remain synchronized if the Concerns are unchanged when moved into an active status. Now, if notes are left and the Concerns are changed, or if a new visit is created without converting the previous appointment to RO in Tekmetric, then the original RVH line with notes will remain present but will no longer be connected to the Tekmetric Concern items.

Any RVH items without notes will be removed from autoflow when the visit with new or updated Concern items is checked in. So if a Concern item for "Engine makes knocking noise at startup" is present on the appointment the RVH will match in the appointment status, but if a new visit is created with a "Engine won't turn over" Concern the original RVH on the appointment will be removed and replaced with the new Concern upon checkin.

Once a visit is checked in, you will be able to create a second RO (Such as for Insurance covered repair) and a second visit will match in autoflow under this new RO#.
