Turning off HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding)
If videos uploaded to the DVI or WO will not play within the browser or will play audio, but no video. These videos are more than likely an HEVC, more commonly known as a High-Efficiency Video file.
These video types are not always compatible with browsers and can cause issues with video playback. We recommend turning off this function within the recording device, before uploading videos to the DVI or WO.
For Android:
1. Go into the Camera App.
2. Go into Camera Settings.
3. In the "Videos" category, find "Advanced video options".
4. In the "Video format" category, ensure "HEVC (high efficiency)" is turned off and switch to the "(most compatible)" option, whatever it may be.
