MotoVisuals Integration - Auto Attach
Once MotoVisuals integration setup is completed* you will be able to access the auto attach feature within your autotext.me Digital Vehicle Inspection. The selected video on a line item will automatically be attached to any inspection item that is marked as Require Future Attention(!) or Require Urgent Attention(X). This can be modified on existing sheets that are no longer able to be modified due to past completed inspections, and will not be restricted from auto-attach changes.
Setting Up DVI Sheet
Using an admin level profile you will need to navigate to the DVI Setup>DVI Sheets Setup page in order to configure the auto attachment feature. This is done independently for separate DVI Sheets, so any new DVI Sheets that are not duplicated from a previous sheet will need to be reconfigured. After the categories and line item you wish to attach has been created you will see the MV marking along the left options as seen below.
This will open a window that will automatically fill in the line item name into the search bar to display relevant MotoVisual videos that can be linked, similar to the manual addition of a video in an active DVI. You will be able to customize the search if the video you are looking for is not appearing, and a list of relevant videos will appear as seen in the image below.
After you have selected the video you wish to add automatically you will see the blue Auto-Attach turn into a green Success! message and the pop in window can be closed. The line will now have the MV icon highlighted to show a video has been selected, as seen below.
By selecting this filled in icon you can also remove the attached video from the auto-attach feature, and will display in the pop in window with a new Delete button seen below.
