How to Reduce Image/Video Sizes for Faster Uploads

Android 11 Phone - One UI 3.1 (Samsung)

1. Open the Camera Application and look for the ratio size in brackets.
2. Tap the icon and it will give you your device compatible image ratios.
3. Click on [1:1] as this will give you the smallest image size.
4. Same process as above when taking a video.





Android 8.1.0 Tablet - (Samsung)

1. Locate and open the "Settings" Application.
2. Scroll down and find "Camera Settings". Tap on it.
3. You will see "Picture Size" under "Rear Camera". Tap on this and then select "1:1" with the smallest MP count for the smaller image size.
4. You will see "Video Size" under "Rear Camera". Tap on this and then select 720p or lower for the smaller video size.




iOS 14 Tablet

1. Locate and open the "Settings" Application.
2. Scroll down using the left side menu and find "Camera". Tap on it.
3. You will see "Formats." Tap on this and then select "High Efficiency" for the smaller file size.
4. For smaller videos, go back to the "Formats" menu and select "Record Video".
5. Select "720p HD at 30fps."
