How To Enable Push Notifications for Windows

How To Enable Push Notifications for Windows

If you are wanting to enable notifications on your Windows browser for additional Autoflow communications, please follow these steps:

WITHIN WINDOWS

1. To ensure your desktop is able to use notifications, you will need to go to your desktop settings. In your system settings, select the option for "Notifications". Ensure that the toggle for your preferred browser is turned "ON".

2. To determine how your browser receives notifications, select your preferred browser in the settings page. You will want to select to "show notifications banners" - this will allow the browser to push the notification to your screen when it arrives.

WITHIN BROWSER

1. To ensure that your browser allows notifications, you will need to select the icon next to the web URL. From there, you can ensure that the toggle for notifications is turned on. If you have issues with turning the toggle on, you can select the option to "reset permissions" to allow you to select the option to turn notifications on.

WITHIN AUTOFLOW
1. The notifications are user based, not company. If you are wanting everyone to have notifications, this will need to be done for each individual login. Begin by going to your "User Settings" from the drop down menu by your name.

2. Under the "Notification Preferences" section, make sure you have push notifications turned on. This will be implemented where it says "This device/browser is subscribed to receive push notifications". If the message instead says that push notifications are blocked, you will need to reset your permissions in your browser to allow push notifications to be used.

3. The types of notifications are below. You are able to turn whichever notifications on as you wish and can have all selected if you please. The last option on this list is not a push notification. This is an option to send the email address attached to your account an email upon completion of a DVI/WO/QC sheet for a visit that you have been assigned to. (If this option is turned on and you are not receiving the messages, double check your junk/spam folder).
