Customer Microsite - Communication Settings

Customer Microsite - Communication Settings

Customers using the microsite after being sent a DVI, Work Order, or QC link are always able to customize their communication preferences without a hard opt-out of sending a stop command to the main text number. This option can be found in the top left corner beside the shop's name in the hamburger menu.

Basic customer information (First name, last initial, vehicle year/make/model, and last 4 of the phone number on file) can be viewed from the My Info option as well. After selecting the Communication Preferences option a pop-in will appear asking for the phone number or email address on the customer profile to verify. A code will be sent to the phone via text, or email to the provided address, in order to verify authorization to make communication preference changes.

The settings seen above are simple toggles, and will serve as soft opt-outs that can be re-enabled by the shop from the customer's profile. Texting and email options are separate for both categories. Appointments/During Your Visit will change the options for receiving appointment reminder messages, as well as ongoing status update messages. This will not prevent messages such as DVI links being sent to these numbers, but will stop messages regarding visit status changes and upcoming appointments.
